Your fridge or freezer is old and consumes way too much electricity? Replace your power guzzlers with efficient refrigeration appliances. For this you will not only receive a voucher in the amount of 150 euros, but it will also save you a lot of money in the future.
The 150 euros voucher will not be set off against your SGB II benefits ("Hartz IV"). It can be redeemed for replacing refrigerators, fridge-freezers, chest freezers, and upright freezers that are older than ten years. The new appliance must have about the same usage volume as the old one and should be similar in type. The replacement will yield savings of at least 200 kWh per year. The basis for the calculation of these potential savings is a long-term measurement.
Your old fridge and/or freezer will have to be disposed of professionally and verifiably. In order to redeem the voucher you will have to provide the original proof of purchase as well as the A+++ energy label of the new appliance, furthermore the signed disposal certificate and a valid photo ID.
